Fairway Woods

Fairway Woods are usually the second-longest golf club in a set of clubs and they are designed to hit longer distances from the fairway grass.  Used golf fairway woods come in many shapes, sizes, and lofts.

Fairways have more loft than drivers and are designed to help get the ball off the grass turf and up into the air faster than a driver.  Used golf fairways can have many lofts to create different distances.

Some golfers like to use their fairway clubs to tee off instead of the driver.  For some players, the added loft and less length of the fairways make them easier to hit then a driver.  In some cases, a well-hit fairway from the tee box can create more distance than a miss-hit driver.
